BCI BUDDY: MODULAR CYBORG SYSTEM

Industrial Design, Prototyping, Electrophysiology

BCI-Buddy is making neurotechnology skills fun and accessible for kids. I worked with this startup to develop and prototype a design for a modular building system designed to make bio-sensing accessible to children aged 12 through 18. Different bands and body mounts made of injection-molded silicone serve as mounting points for a variety of pop-in sensors that allow children to interface their bodies with an accessible block-based programming language. Our platform is currently focused on electromyography, and is soon expanding to EEG, EKG, and other sensors.

Currently, I am working with the company to prepare this product for beta kits and further refine the design through market testing. Learn more about our software platform at bci-buddy.com
