Rotten thoughts is an experiment in human-fungus telepathy through collaborative neural art making.

We are entering an age of human society where our culture is increasingly defined by the presence of non-human intelligences. Instead of the current extractive AI models, I look to nature for sources of highly networked distributed systems performing cognitive tasks. Rotten Thoughts explores Myco-intelligence, a hypothetical emergent property of networked mushrooms sharing cognition and nutrients through their mycelium. Rotten Thoughts is a physical, living, breathing space where we ask our human audience to create collaborative neural art works alongside sentient mushrooms.
